The Boulder Garden 2024 Solstice Opening Day Celebration!

We are thrilled to invite you to our Opening Day Celebration on December 21st, 2024!

Enjoy special hand-picked community vendors, including non-profits like the Carolina Climbers Coalition and the American Alpine Club, adventure and art, and physical and mental wellbeing services. Celebrate with food and beverage trucks, FREE bouldering on our new walls, raffles, yoga, gallery tours, live music, films, and more!

This free event is open to everyone!

All profits will be donated to Helene relief organizations tirelessly rebuilding our Western North Carolina communities and recreational areas.

Here are the details:

• Date: December 21st, 2024

• Time: 10am – midnight

• Admission: Free

• Parking: Free parking is available in the Morris Street parking lot and the Foster street parking lot; we are also across from the Durham Parking Garage on Roney Street

• Road Closures: You’re right, this is a block party! We are closing part of Roney Street and Hunt Street, so be aware of the signs.

• Furry family members welcomed outside!

• Climbing waivers: Advised that all participants and spectators fill out ahead of time. Link to waiver can be found HERE
