Mia Stopa
YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Hello!! I grew up running and jumping rope, and have always loved new ways of challenging myself physically and mentally. A few years back I injured my hamstring running, and was at a major loss for ways to make my body feel good, strong, healthy again. Yoga came into my life when I needed it most, and has been a pillar for my overall well-being for years. I am passionate about helping people find what works for them; the beauty of yoga is it is for everyone. I look forward to sharing what I can with, and learning from, this community - I can't wait to meet you!

Xia Meng Howey
YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Hello! My name is Xia Meng Howey. As a yoga instructor, my goal is to transport students from the daily stressors of life and bring you back home to your bodies so that you can leave feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. Outside of teaching yoga, I enjoy being with nature, cooking, gardening, painting, reading, and a billion other hobbies. I am an avid climber as well, and you can spot me at Moore’s, The New/Red River Gorge, or Pilot Mountain with my husky Nala. Thanks for reading, hope to see you in a class soon!

YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Hello! I started doing yoga over a decade ago when I was given a coupon for a local yoga studio. I quickly fell in love with the practice and discovered that through yoga I could transform heavy emotions into movement and leave my mat feeling lighter. Since finding yoga I’ve learned that I love movement of every kind, from running and weight training, to swimming and pilates. My yoga practice has given me a greater sense of self-awareness and helps me discern when I want to challenge myself and when I need to back off. As a teacher, I strive to help students build awareness of both their physical body and their inner landscape as a whole, so that they have the power to guide their own practice.
